Dr. Fanniel was born in Oklahoma and graduated from Guthrie High School in Guthrie Oklahoma. She attended Langston University for her undergraduate studies and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education. Dr. Fanniel graduated from Langston University and Nova Southeastern University with honors and completed a Master of Science (MScEd) degree in Education and Administration with honors graduating magna cum laude. She received a Doctor of Education degree in Organizational Leadership with an emphasis in K-12 Leadership, from Grand Canyon University. 

Over a span of forty years Dr. Fanniel has served in the field of Elementary education as a teacher, assistant Principal, and Principal in Arizona and Oklahoma school system. Dr. Fanniel’s community service consisted of working as a mentor and director of Reading and Literacy programs. Dr Fanniel has been honored with many awards such as Teacher of the Year in Career Education, NAACP Roy Wilkens Image Award in Education, and Youth Scholarship Director Award, and Arizona J.W Robinson Black Fire Fighters Educational Award.  Dr. Fanniel is eager to give back to the next generation and community youth leaders while serving as CEO of the New Millennium Foundation 2020, Our intent is to make an impactful and powerful difference by 2024.  Dr. Fanniel is happily married to Charles Fanniel, and together they have four adult children. In their free time they enjoy spending time with family, working in their fashion boutique,
traveling, and watching documentaries.
